Yes, but those are *poor* people. I heard that in Canada, a *rich* person once died because the hospitals were all full-up of those poor lazy people who insisted on going to the doctor for every pesky little amputation.

If you're on that side of the congressional aisle, 18,000 poor people just isn't that big a price to pay to ensure that a rich white man never has to wait in line for his hangnail.
